Guitar Tuition

I'm available for tuition on classical, acoustic, electric, bass guitars and ukulele.  Whether you've just got yourself a guitar and want to learn your favourite songs or you want to follow a structured syllabus and take graded exams please get in contact and I'll help you achieve your goals through tailored lessons and tutoring.  I can also provide assistance with preparation for the performance element of Music GCSE and A-Level.  

I am able to also provide music theory lessons - whether that be for personal interest or to assist with ABRSM (or alternative exam board) grade 5 theory exam to progress beyond grade 5 on your instrument.  

I provide clarinet tuition and exam prep up to grade 6.

I hold a Diploma in the guitar from the London College of Music (DipLCM) and have taken the grade 8 electric guitar exam with RSL (passed with distinction) so am well versed with what both of the main guitar exam boards expect.  

I am a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors (London College of Music) www.rgt.org as well as being a registered tutor with the RSL exam board www.rslawards.com .

Tuition can be provided in person or online.  Both are effective methods of teaching and I have achieved results both in person and online.  The benefit of online is you can learn from home, not have to travel anywhere making finding a mutually convenient appointment slot far easier.  I recommend a blended approach of online with in person lessons once per month to brush up on technique and finer details that may be missed via the online platform.  

I hold a full enhanced DBS clearance.
